Types of adaptations

Driving Adaptations:
Driving adaptations can help with speed control, steering and signalling and may enable a person to drive where it would otherwise not be possible. They vary from simple attachments, to replacing all existing controls with a system individually designed for you.

Stowage Adaptations:
The best way to lift your wheelchair or scooter into your car is with a stowage system, such as a boot hoist or rooftop stowage unit. Both options take the weight of the wheelchair or scooter, helping you guide the product into either your car boot, or a rooftop stowage unit.

Access Adaptations:
When considering how to access your car as a wheelchair user there are a number of adaptations that can be installed on a standard car, including transfer plates, person hoists and swivel seats.
