    Bang on experience, from start to finish it was so easy. Alot better than when I got my first car from Toyota, maybe Toyota should send their staff here to learn how todo it.

    Jason G….Terrible… the man who rang to book me in kept messing up and had to re-enter the work I needed doing on to the system 3 times and it took around half an hour for him just to book me in. I explained that I needed a courtesy car as I can’t get home otherwise. He said there wasn’t one available and booked me in regardless stating that the service had to be done on that date as the service schedule date was going to expire otherwise. I explained that I was really ill and registered disabled but he insisted on making the booking regardless and told me to speak to Motability and they would give me a hire car. I called Motability and they don’t do hire cars during service. I took the car in and asked for the person I was told to ask for and it was her day off. Then I spoke to Maja and reported the faults that I had with the car to her in person as well as having filled in the details on the online check-in. The boot central locking button has not worked since the last service a year ago so I reported that along with the 2 software updates that the car needed. The car was kept overnight due to it needing the break discs and pads replacing. It and the next day to be told that the boot central locking button was fine… which was strange as it hadn’t worked for roughly a year, so I was suspicious that they hadn’t checked it properly. I was also told that the software updates had been done yet the car is still showing that one of them is still needed. I turned up to collect the car and was told yes the button was actually faulty after all and it didn’t work, so I would now need to bring the car back the day after as well. I drove the car home but there was an immediate knocking and vibration when breaking on the off side front. As soon as I got home I rang the service department and said it could not have been test driven after the installation of the discs and pads all round. I called Motability and they sent out the RAC to check it was safe to drive back to the dealership. It took 5 hours of my evening waiting for them to come, after you already having had the car for a day and a half and also knowing it needed to be taken back yet again the day after for the button and the breaks to be looked at. It was immediately evident that the break disc was badly dented in one spot creating a bulge in the side of the disc which was the reason for the vibration and knocking sound. Once again this could not have been visually inspected prior to fitting and not test driven after installation of the breaks. I rang the service centre at 8:30 this morning to explain about the disc and asked that they make sure they have relevant replacement items ready for when I come back in. Maja said she would speak to the workshop and come back to me over it, but I had to ring back over an hour later to chase this up. I have taken the car back this afternoon as instructed.. for the third day running and sat for over an hour waiting waiting for a new disc and pads to be fitted…. again.. along with the replacement button. I have now been told the button has not fixed the problem so it will have to go back in again next week and probably for around 3 days while the panels and wiring are pulled out. I have then started to drive home and suddenly an assisted cruise control warning came up on the dash and the sat nav changed to guiding me to the nearest service centre. I pulled over and turned off the ignition and waited a while then restarted it. The warning did not come back on but there is clearly an issue now as this has never happened before. I have an expensive weekend away planned tomorrow morning and I am now worried that I am going to get that warning light coming back on during my travels. I am severely disabled hence the Motability vehicle and I have been messed around now for 3 days straight with the prospect of having to still return the car yet again next week for another 3 days or more. I have made 6 journeys to and from the dealership now in 3 days while really ill and that is not at all acceptable to put someone who is disabled through all of this with a vehicle they are reliant on.
