    Unfortunately, our recent experience with the service department at Stellantis Nottingham was very disappointing.

    On arrival, our vehicle was not checked in front of us. The courtesy car we were first given was dirty, with a used water bottle left inside. We were told it was fully charged, however it only had 37 miles of range, making it unusable. We returned the vehicle and were then offered a Peugeot 308 petrol, which we waited for, only to be told it had no fuel.

    We were then given an e-2008 which did have charge, but at no point were we taken to any of the courtesy vehicles to inspect them or check for existing damage before being handed the keys.

    When collecting our own car, we were initially told that no fault had been found. The gentleman at the desk was very pleasant and helpful. He asked a colleague, Izzy, for clarification. At this point, Izzy did not address my wife at all and spoke only to her colleague, stating dismissively that “she’s already been told there’s no fault.”

    My wife politely asked whether there was someone else she could speak to. Izzy responded by saying there was no need to involve the workshop manager and again repeated that no fault had been found. This interaction felt unprofessional and dismissive, and it was uncomfortable to witness a colleague being shut down in front of a customer when he was simply trying to help.

    Eventually, we were able to speak directly to the technician who worked on the vehicle. He confirmed that there is in fact a fault with the anti-braking system and multiple sensors that are not functioning correctly. We were advised this damage is likely linked to a bodyshop repair carried out approximately a year ago.

    Additionally, despite being told our car would be cleaned, it was not. We were simply pointed in the direction of the vehicle and told, “you know what your car looks like.”

    Overall, this visit showed a lack of care, poor communication, and inconsistent information. While some staff members were polite and helpful, the overall experience — particularly the handling of our concerns — fell well below expectations.
