Dear Lisa,
We hope you will be able to help us. We recently took our Toyota to Kwik-fit in Huntingdon for an MOT, the car passed but the front offside tyre was down to 3mm all over. I completed a survey on 10/11/2025 which details the poor service I received. They refused to change the tyre, claiming Motability wouldn’t authorise it.
I have now taken our Toyota CHR AJ72LNG for a service and also ordered a new Toyota CHR. As previously stated, I asked them to check the offside front tyre. It was confirmed as potentially dangerous. They couldn't change it and referred me back to Kwik-fit. They have already refused to change it. Our new vehicle isn't due until the end of January 2026. What should I do now? I don't feel confident driving this vehicle in the current wet conditions.
The Toyota dealer, Steven Eagell, has also informed us that you have refused to pay for the service, and they are now out of pocket. We find this quite unbelievable considering the excellent service we received from them.

We don't have an issue with anything done by The staff at Steven Eagell,in St Ives, in fact your service was exemplary! Hence the 5 stars.
Our issue is with Motability as you did not receive payment. we need a replacement tyre and Kwik-Fit will not change the tyre. Because the vehicle is nearing the end of contract.
