    I originally placed an order for the Caramel Brown Citroen e-C4 but was then told that the colour was discontinued so I chose grey however, as I am registered blind I thought a brighter colour would be better to help me spot the car so I asked if I could change to the red. I was told that the red would require a £100 payment. I enquired at other Citroen Motability dealers and found that they did not charge any extra for the red, Scott agreed to waiver the payment, which I appreciate (I would have gone to another garage otherwise).
    I was not asked which colour inserts I wanted and when asked which colour had been ordered and if I could choose I was told that it would be too late to amend the order and if I wanted to change it would be a complete new application (by which time the AP had increased) so I declined.
    I contacted Scott a few times to ask about build date but was told that until a chassis number was available there was no information. I was never given any details of build date or shipping date - which I would have like to have known. I stopped asking for details as I felt as if I was being a bother.
    I received a telephone call on Monday 20th March asking if I could collect the car on the following Thursday at 4pm. That date was not convenient, albeit quite short notice which is why I had queried build/shipping dates as I could have planned in advance as my husband had to give his work place change of vehicle details in order for him to access the car park etc.
    I arranged to collect the car on Monday 27th March at 10am. Scott asked for my letter with my PIN on and entered it himself without my permission. This is NOT supposed to happen and I am meant to enter it and also I wanted my husband to give the car a onceover before accepting it.
    We did have initial problems with certain things not working on the car and apparently Scott was very good to deal with it and got the car straight into the service department where the problem was sorted instantly. I was not party to any of that as my husband spoke to Scott and took the car back to your dealership on my behalf.
    Following this experience, I would be hesitant to use Allingtons again for a Motability car however, the service department are excellent as I have used them to deal with my previous Motability car.
