    I would rate my experience with Tates as excellent during my recent purchase of a Kia Sportage on the mobility scheme. This is because Mr Dan Fogg dealt with my enquiry professionally and took time to answer my questions. I was grateful that he arranged a lift from a local station when I collected the car and followed up my purchase to make sure, after driving for a few days, that I was pleased with my purchase, which I was.

    I recently contacted my local Kia dealership in Pyecombe, West Sussex, to arrange a test drive of the Kia EV5. Craig Mitchell replied promptly and was able to fit me in almost straight away. He asked what I was looking for in a vehicle and, after hearing my requirements, suggested that I also take a look at the Kia EV3.

    A few days later, I visited the dealership and met Craig in person. I viewed the EV3 first and was immediately impressed by how spacious it was. The boot felt cavernous, the driver’s area was bright and comfortable, and it ticked every box on my list. It’s a beautiful car. Craig provided all the specifications and information I needed, and within minutes I knew it was the right car for me — the same instinctive feeling I had when choosing my previous vehicle.

    We then moved on to the EV5, which I had originally come to test drive. I sat inside to get a sense of the space, but my head and heart were still firmly with the EV3. I realised there was no point continuing with the EV5 test drive. Craig wasn’t put out at all; in fact, he seemed genuinely pleased that the EV3 suited me so well. He brought the EV3 around, and off we went for a test drive. I felt instantly at home, especially as I’ve been driving a Hyundai Kona EV.

    Within two days I returned with my paperwork and placed my order for the Kia EV3. Craig went through everything carefully, checked whether I had any questions or concerns, and made sure I was completely comfortable with the contract. His knowledge of Kia vehicles is excellent, and he is patient, understanding, and easy to talk to. I have a significant speech difficulty and sometimes struggle to pronounce certain words, but I felt completely at ease with Craig and never worried that my speech would hold me back.

    Craig has made it clear that he is available if I have any questions while I wait for my new EV3, and I truly appreciate the support he has given throughout the process.
