    I booked in advance so that I could have a replacement car while my vehicle was in for its MOT and service. I had already signed the paperwork and provided my licence for the lease car. However, when we went outside to collect the vehicle, the service employee was unable to find it in the car park.

    We returned inside, and it became clear that the lease car had been removed from the premises without the system being updated. I was then informed that there was nothing they could do and that I would need to find my own way home.

    Another member of staff mentioned that there was a fleet car available, although it was electric, which was fine with me. After locating the key and finding the vehicle, we went outside again, only to discover that the car had not been charged. The managers’ cars were on charge, and all the fleet cars had flat batteries.

    The service employee was visibly annoyed and embarrassed, and he expressed in front of other staff that the situation was unacceptable—especially with a customer present.

    Jamie at Kia Rainham was friendly and very helpful. I was very worried about getting a Motability car but he was very knowledgeable and by the time I left I was a lot happier. We needed a car immediately as our car was dead. The time frame for a new car was to long but Jamie and Guy were able to sort a car to be ready within a week. I would recommend Kia Rainham to others.
