    I obtained a new Astra motability car from them and before picking the car up the service was fine with a phone message to arrange the pickup date.

    When picking the car up they had noticed that there was a scuff on the rear bumper so would have to fix it, that was fine, these things happen. I was told, by Jacob, if I brought it in then they would give me a courtesy car and they would drop the car back off at my house. I said I would arrive at 8.30am to give them as much time as possible. They put a full tank of petrol in the car which was appreciated.

    I arrived at 8.35am but nobody was available until about 9. I repeated that they had said the car would be dropped back off. At about 3pm they rang me up to come and pick the car up as they had no staff. I repeated I had been promised this so a few minutes later they rang back and said they would drop it off.

    When they dropped it off and I checked it over, I noticed now a scratch on the rear passenger wheel. Unfortunately I had not checked before dropping it off, but neither myself or my wife noticed clipping the wheel. The person dropping it off took a photo and said he would tell Mark, the Motoability person I dealt with. He said they normally take photos before work so could check to see. I have heard nothing since. The car was not valeted either, which is not a big thing, but seems to show they are short staffed still.

    I am not going to pursue it further but will likely change garage online to another for any servicing.
