    My previous car was booked in, not my current one. On arrival I was informed of this. They continued to MOT my current car, despite it only being 8 months old. No courtesy car was offered or available, as ever- never seems to be available.
    The knocking noise was not resolved which resulted in a near accident as the whole back underneath panel eventually dragged on the road and very nearly came off…into the windscreen of the following car ( who was flashing his lights frantically). My son pulled over and broke off the concern bit.
    On my return to the dealership , I was advised that checking that the underneath panel of the car is not a part of the MOT. And not seen when the car was on the ramp and the mechanic underneath……..
    So, this was my fault for failing to alert them of an intermittent issue.
    This is the 2nd car ( out of 2 ) which has had a major post production issue. The first car had an incorrectly fitted sunroof. This was also not picked up when I alerted them to it the first time; it was most likely water coming in from incorrectly closed windows.
    I am still waiting for a new under panel that arrive when it will be fitted, apparently,” whilst I wait”.
    I have lost confidence in Shukers.
