At Whitedove Skoda, our award-winning sales team are all fully trained Motability Specialists. We have been a part of the Motability Scheme for over 30 years, and in this time have gained a deep understanding of how to meet the needs of Motability customers and deliver the best possible service.

    Disappointing!!. being a disabled person and virtually housebound because I’m suffering with severe Anxiety to be told they would only provide a collection and delivery service for a fee of £49.. which might not be much for some people it’s quite a lot of money out of my benefit especially when it’s states online and I quote “No, there is no charge for a Motability car to be collected for an MOT. The cost of MOTs, including any necessary repairs to ensure the vehicle passes, is covered by the Motability Scheme as part of the all-inclusive lease package. 

    Here's why there's no charge and how it works:
    Included in your lease:
The Motability Scheme covers the cost of MOTs and any necessary repairs to ensure the vehicle meets road safety and environmental standards. “

    Needless to say I didn’t know this at the time and my partner had to take a day off work to accompany to the dealers for this MOT to take place which caused a lot of stress for me.

    I am sorry you feel disappointed by the visit because the charge was in place. Whilst the Maintenance is covered by Motability, the service requested is provided by White Dove Garages directly and a charge is applicable to all customers for this option. We do offer other options to help customers with their booking choices such as a replacement vehicle and waiting appointments at specific times. We are also open on a Saturday morning for those who are unable to attend during the week because of work commitments. All costs are quoted to customers in advance to avoid any confusion.

    I had a fantastic experience collecting my vehicle from my Motability dealer. Aled was incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional throughout the entire process.     Aled was really very helpful at the handover of our new car. He was willing to answer any questions that we had and explained many of the features and improvements that we were not used to with our other car. He took us out to the car and explained the controls, paired our telephones with the car and was generally very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and all carried out with a good sense of humour. A great service.
