Following your recent visit for your vehicle’s annual service, I’ve reviewed the technician’s notes regarding the concerns you raised.
Here’s a summary of their findings:
Tyre Pressures: These were found to be low. The technician inflated the tyres to the correct levels and reset the TPMS system.
Diagnostics: A diagnostic check showed several stored faults relating to camera and sensor obstructions. These faults were cleared to allow a full road test.
Road Test: During the road test, no warning lights or issues were present.
Post-Test Inspection: After returning, the technician carried out another diagnostic check, which showed a fault code for “camera obstructed.” On inspection, there was evidence of cobwebs and rain droplets on the proximity sensors and cameras.
To ensure the sensors work effectively, we recommend regularly wiping them to remove any dirt, moisture, or debris.
If you continue to experience any issues, we’d be happy to investigate further. Please let us know, and we can arrange for the vehicle to be rebooked and kept with us for a couple of days to carry out additional testing and, if needed, open a technical support case with Renault.
