    From start to finish Jonathan was there to
    Assist me with help and support. The handover went quick and smooth and Jonathan went out of his way to collect me from home due to transport issues. I would recommend Johnson’s Volkswagen to everyone .

    I dropped an Id3 mobility car in for service. There were no issues with the car so it was routine.
    Tom, a very helpful and friendly guy told us it needed a software update and would be ready at the end of the day and advised us to collect it between 4pm and 5pm and told us it would be washed.
    En route to collect it Tom called us to say that the car wasn't ready and to wait 3 days and collect it after the weekend. My wife uses this car as she cannot walk far. Waiting over the weekend would trap her in the house or cost a fortune in taxis.
    Tom couldn't apologise enough and convinced a service person to stay over and finish the software job but we would still have to wait until the Saturday morning and book in a few weeks for the rest of the service. This did not work for us as it left us without a car for work in the morning. Tom offered a courtesy car but only had manual. My wife has to have an auto as do so many other people with mobility cars. We had no choice but to take it as the company had no auto or eV cars to lend us. This aggravated my wife's hip.
    Tom tried everything in his power to help but he did not have the solutions available to him. I returned to collect the car on Monday and it had not been cleaned. Tom was annoyed that this had not happened and offered to clean it there and then himself although I presume this is not his job. That was a lovely gesture but I didn't have time to do it. He said I could bring it back any time and he would wash it. This was very kind.
    This is the second time the car has been in and the second time we've had significant issues. The company should have timed the service better. They had it all day and it was easily doable if they plugged the update on earlier. They left it until the afternoon knowing it would take hours. Also, if the company provide a motability service for disabled people they should consider automatic courtesy cars.
    Tom is a valuable asset to Johsons. He genuinely cares and wants to fix things. Keep hold of him.
