Where do I begin with this review?
The start- I contacted this dealership on the 10th of January 2025 to look at getting a Renault Megane E-Tech, I asked if I could come in for a test drive and to decide if I wanted to order one, we agreed for me to come on the following Monday which was the 13th of January 2025.
I arrived to be greeted by the car not only not being the right car but only had 11% battery on it so I could really take it very far on the test drive even though they had 3 days notice.
After test driving and looking at the cars available I decided to order one through the Motabilty scheme, the salesman did not seem professional getting many things wrong when typing my information in which I had to correct multiple times
I was taken to the dealership by my parents and whilst there they decided to look at new cars when the salesman saw this he was more interested in the new sale rather than my questions about the Motabilty scheme, which seemed very very unprofessional.
They told him they were just looking and I've never seen a more pushy salesman in my life.
I asked if I could get a trade in value for my current car that I wasn't able to drive anymore and was told yeah not a problem, I gave them all the details and was told they'd be back in touch with me with a price, safe to say I never got that price even after multiple times of asking so I gave up and had to sell it elsewhere.
I was told the car would be available to collect by the 16th of March but I could expect it sooner, after not hearing anything from them at all by the beginning of March I called up and asked when the new car would be delivered.
I was told they would fine out and call me back, I never received a call from them at all until the week I was due to get the car which was the 4th of April.
I spent the entirety of March calling and asking for updates as I was told we'll call you back but yet again never got a call back, then after speaking with Chris the sales manager and voicing my concerns regarding how I'd been treated I was passed from Andy to Sue another Motabilty scheme specialist, Sue was a lot better actually getting in touch and letting me know where the new car was and when it would be available.
I was beginning to think my luck had turned, we agreed a date and time for me to go and pick up the new car.
This is when it turned bad again for me, I arrived 15 minutes early for the appointment time to find out the car wasn't there ready and was off at the valeting station somewhere, Sue was with another customer so I waited.
My appointment time came and went, and I was there for almost an hour after my appointment time when the car eventually arrived, I had maybe a couple of minutes to look over it, then was rushed through the paperwork while she was still looking after this other customer.
If you're going to give people appointment times please keep them especially for disabled people like myself as I was in agony waiting around in uncomfortable seating for over an hour.
Luckily the car has been a dream so far giving me my independence back, but I would recommend you go to a different dealership as this one doesn't know what's happening most of the time and don't keep their promises, Chris mentioned that he'd try to throw something in for all the hassle I got, and nothing even my parents who did eventually buy a new car (from a different dealership) got a free cleaning kit for it.
So listen to me and go to different dealership if you actually want customer service.
