The experience was awful. I will never be returning. Firstly, I was given a replacement car with almost an empty tank. When I mentioned it, I was told i had to put petrol myself. No mention on reimbursement whatsoever. The car i was given takes alot more petrol than my car as I was forced to put £20 petrol inorder to complete my daily routine.
I and my daughter arrived the next day to return the replacement and pick up ours. I had left my daughter sitting in the car whilst I was talking to the receptionist (Janice). In the middle of my conversation another worker (elderly Caucasian male) came and asked for the keys of the replacement car. As I was handing over the keys I mentioned that my daughter was in the car, she was refusing to come out so I'd like to get the keys to my vehicle so she doesn't have to get more distressed. Whilst I was still talking to him, he proceeded to walk towards the vehicle with my child inside, saying he's going to move the car.
I followed him, requested for the replacement car keys back mentioning again that my child is in the vehicle and he could have asked me to move the vehicle. I was then asked to move the vehicle only to be told to move it back to where i had originally parked which frustrated me. What was the point of it all if wasn't necessary!!!
Then proceeded to let him know how unprofessional he was from the start, as I was in the middle of a conversation with another staff when he interupted and then rudely walked away whilst I was trying to explain that my child is refusing to come out. She's autistic and non-verbal. Then I was asked to move the vehicle just to have it moved back within seconds, for no absolute reason.
He was also the same worker that said I'd be OK with almost an empty petrol tank. Felt like he was trying to get me worked up.
The fact he thinks it's ok to want to get in a vehicle with a child that doesn't know him without my permission is totally wrong. Janice who was at the desk stepped in, apologised and tried to calm me down as I was very emotional and distressed at this point. She was present when everything unfolded as she was who I was talking to when he first approached me.
She apologised for what she didn't cause but he didn't even apologise.
After 30mins I was given my car keys and walked to my vehicle, then i realised it wasn't cleaned even though it was marked off as washed and vacuumed. I complained to the person that gave me my keys. She was adamant that my car had been washed from the night before but upon checking herself she realised it wasn't. I was told I had to wait for the wash to be completed. Had to wait another 30mins for that to be done. Overall was there for an hour or over.
The service and professionalism received was 0 except from Janice who was very lovely and compassionate.
