    My Galaxy was delivered on Thursday 28th July,stripped of all personal possessions and at the Dealership for 8am as per online booking. I received a call telling that my car had not even been looked at, let alone worked on and could it be held over to the following day and that the cleaners had not turned up that day either. So the car had stood untouched for an entire day needlessly. It was required the following day for a crucial Hospital appointment at Queen Square WC1 but by the time it was ready it was too late to drive so travelled there and back by London taxi. The car had been cleaned sheen I collected it at 4.30. As a Motability user, I am totally reliant on my car and no explanation was offered by Sean who I communicated with whom I had been communicating.
    My son has an Astra from Bristol Street Motors who book in his car, perform the service, doing exactly what they say they will, both wash and valet to showroom standards. The car is ready at the pre arranged time ready for collection. That is a good service experience and how it should be done.
    Not good enough Gates of Woodford. I doubt I shall, nor my daughter who bought a Fiesta from Gates and also had a poot experience, will be returning to Gates in the future.KM

    I cannot rate this higher. It was a poor experience due to a lack of communication between staff, and an appreciable absence of understanding for families living with disabled members. Grateful for the apology, (instructed by the manager). However, an unnecessary stressful experience compounded by the fact that once home, we discovered the car had been left in ‘transport mode’. Grateful to the Seven YouTube videos which came to the rescue!

    Nobody listens to my explanation of issues with car.
    Rely on computer too much . I have previously had to provide video of car running for staff to believe the gear box had fallen apart this time luckily a service sorted my lose of power otherwise car
    Would have been given back all because system didn’t show 2 spanner lights coming on then off once restarted on 2 occasions. I felt the car lose power on last occasion. Could have been dangerous
