    I am writing this feedback as a Mobility customer to express my concerns regarding the service I received at Ancaster Chislehurst during my recent visit for a mobility vehicle health check and to ensure no-one else has this same/similar experiences.

    Firstly, I would like to commend the young gentleman who assisted me He was courteous and made efforts to address my concerns by consulting with his manager. However, my overall experience was disappointing due to several issues:

    • Data Protection Inquiry: When I inquired about the storage location of webcam data, another staff member intervened in a manner I found dismissive and unprofessional. Given my background in IT, including data protection, programming, and coding, I am acutely aware of my rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). I believe my questions were valid and deserved respectful responses.

    • Courtesy Vehicle Condition: The first courtesy car provided was in an unacceptable state—dirty both inside and out. The on-screen dashboard was non-functional, lacking essential features such as navigation and Bluetooth connectivity. Additionally, there was no USB port available, rendering the car charger unusable. As someone with a hearing impairment, I rely on Bluetooth connectivity for navigation assistance, especially in unfamiliar areas like Chislehurst. The lack of these features led to me getting lost multiple times, exacerbating my anxiety and physical discomfort.

    • Second Courtesy Vehicle Issues: Upon requesting a different vehicle, I was provided with another dirty car, which had a broken door handle. Furthermore, the vehicle exhibited a delay in the start-stop mechanism, causing additional anxiety. Such mechanical issues could potentially lead to accidents, posing safety risks.

    • Booking Confusion: Despite having booked the courtesy car approximately six weeks in advance, I was informed that there was no record of this booking. This oversight suggests a lack of attention to customer service and organizational processes.

    • Facility Cleanliness: I was appalled by the state of the restroom facilities, which were unhygienic and appeared to have been neglected for an extended period. The presence of excrement around the toilet bowl was particularly distressing. I reported this to a staff member, but the condition of the facilities indicates a broader issue with cleanliness and maintenance.

    • Vehicle Cleaning Standards: If cleaning my car was part of the visual car check, I would have preferred to use my local car washing service. My car had streaks of water, suggesting that a dirty cloth was used or minimal effort was made to clean it. The courtesy car, provided at my request, was cleaner; however, only minimal effort was made to vacuum and clean the interior. Again, my local car washing service would have done a much better job.

    The cumulative effect of these issues left me feeling distressed and undervalued as a customer. This experience starkly contrasts with the exemplary service I received at the Catford branch last year (which sadly is no longer available)

    I urge you to address these concerns promptly to prevent similar experiences for other customers. Additionally, I would appreciate a formal response outlining the steps you intend to take to rectify these issues.
