    Made an appointment which when I arrived there was no record of. Had to wait an hour to see someone. When I eventually did the process was quick and easy.

    I was sent an online check in which was not applicable to my son's vehicle as Motability customers. We were not paying for the service, and a driver was collecting and returning the vehicle! There were no options to say these questions were not applicable!

    Later, during the service, I was sent a video with traffic light signals. This said that the air conditioning service was urgently required at a cost of £139 and that two tyres were in the amber category at over £100 pounds each.
    It did not say that these items, including the one marked "urgent" were not covered by the Motability service.
    I had to ring to find all this out! Had I not rung, and ticked that the urgent item should be carried out, my son's vehicle would have had an outstanding bill for £139.
    I complained about this to a service engineer, but he did not understand, or did not want to understand the point I was making. He said he would have rung to clarify that I was happy to pay....how could I know that, I didn't even know that Motability didn't cover the air conditioning service in their service contract with Inchcape!

    The driver who collected the car was very polite and helpful and would get 5 out of five. However, the way the service engineer spoke to me was only a 1 out of 5 as he was not prepared to listen and try to understand the problem. He dismissed my complaint by saying "no-one else has complained and that everyone else likes the online check in because it works better for working people. I am sure it does, but that wasn't the point I was making!
