- Rating 1.0Feb 12, 2025Poor customer service. I requested my cherished registration be switched to the new car and was told this was not possible because of dvani rules. When I fact checked this I found Stephen from cupra was incorrect regarding the issue. I also requested from Ellen that number plate holders be fitted to the car, which I would pay for.So when I needed to change the physical plates onto the new car, it would be an easy job, to swap them over.When I arrived at the dealership, I was told by Ellen that a huge car dealership Charles Hurst. Had none of these plate holders in stock, which I found to be bizarre. And knowing that I would be replacing the number plates with my private plates. The number plates on the car had been fixed to the car with both screws and double sided tape. Making them very difficult to remove.
The time settings in the car were set at European time, the car windscreen on the drivers side seems to have been cleaned with an oily rag, making it difficult to see through. I would not return to this dealership in the future because of the way I have been treated and mislead from the start of the process. If there was another Cupra dealership in Northern Ireland I would go there instead. I only put up with this below par treatment as I was informed by Stephen at Cupra that they were the only dealership which could provide the car I have.
Overall I am happy with the Cupra Formentor as it suits my needs well.
