    Car was booked in for a service at 10:30 I arrived on time handed the keys over and was told where the waiting area was. My car was eventually taken round at 12:30 which having sat waiting for 2 hours I wasn’t best pleased with. I then sat for a further 3 hours with no one having come to apologise it was taking longer than expected to which by this point I then went to find things out for myself. I was informed that Motability took 2 hours to authorise the work to be done and that my car would probably be another 30 minutes as it was having a software update. Why does Motability not have a pre authorisation system in places so that customers aren’t left waiting around? Unfortunately due to my adaptations on the car I wasn’t able to have a courtesy car and there was no collection and delivery available to me or that was offered by SMC. What made it worse due to the fact I have a spinal condition and being left to sit in a draughty corner where the salesman who works in that area kept his coat on the whole time I was there made it uncomfortable for me. Again I express there was no update from the service team even though Steve Fellowes the service advisor looking after my car had walked past me multiple times didn’t even have the courtesy to even say to me sorry for your wait let me get you an update for you. After waiting a number of hours I approached the desk and asked for an update when not even an apology was given. When I was given my key back by Steve Fellowes his words were “your car is finally done” and made for a quick get away. my overall experience was not pleasant and if I’m honest the 1 star is for the hot chocolate out of the machine!

    Nick was brilliant from start to finish! He explained the process thoroughly but didn’t take years to get the job done. He gave me ample updates about my car, and was always happy to speak to me.When the car arrived, he showed me the controls and how to link up my phone. I had just about 101 questions but Nick was patient and polite! Thank you so much, couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

    Very polite, always kept me updated on my car. Even called me after I collected the car to make sure everything was okay. Showed me how to use the touchscreen to change settings. Very helpful. Highly recommend.
