    This was my first time ever using the Motability scheme and the first time I have ever been involved in buying a new car from a dealership.

    Grant Nixon, from the JCB Volkswagen Medway dealership seriously deserves some special recognition. From the very first phonecall - all the way through to collecting the car - he kept me up to date every step of the way. His estimated delivery date (from order to collection) was absolutely spot-on. During the ordering/specifying process, he was never pushy (as you might stereotypically expect from a car salesman) and it really felt like we were designing a car which was perfect for me.

    To be honest, I was quite reluctant and nervous to make use of the Motability scheme at all because of the social stigma, feeling judged by others and feeling like there could be others more deserving of this benefit (although I am eligible, this only happened quite recently, following an accident and the various ongoing chronic health issues as a result).

    At the JCB Volkswagen Medway dealership, I (a Motability customer), was treated with exactly the same level of respect as any other customer and was always welcomed by friendly, professional members of the team. The dealership itself always looked fantastic; immaculate cars on display and plenty of team members ready and happy to help.

    Grant Nixon was also a huge help by putting my mind at ease regarding the stigma around Motability; he made me feel just as important as any other customer and allowed me to actually feel excited about collecting my new car (because honestly, I was really nervous about collecting it because it’s on Motability).

    I’d like to say a huge thank you to Grant Nixon for his kind, friendly and professional service - he is an extremely valuable asset to JCB Volkswagen Medway and a fantastic representative for the Motability scheme.
