From the moment I arrived at Marshall Nissan Oxford, the reception I received from Vernon (the customer liaison specialist) was exceptional. He immediately made me feel genuinely welcomed, and offered me a choice of a selection of coffees whilst I waited to be attended to. I chose a latte which was excellent quality, made to perfection, and served to me in a classy ceramic mug.
Whilst I was waiting for the Qashqai to be serviced, I noticed the quite striking Nissan Ariya electric vehicle, so I asked a nearby individual if I could speak to a sales representative. I was greeted (literally within seconds) by the very amiable, happy and enthusiastic Ash Day. I thought it was quite amusing how Ash popped up so quickly (seemingly out of nowhere), so we had a good laugh about it which was a very nice icebreaker.
In all the many years I’ve dealt with car salespeople, I have never met anyone as truly authentic and transparently kindhearted as Ash, so I connected with him immediately. The ensuing conversation with Ash about the Ariya was just pure enjoyment, I never had so much fun whilst being sold a car! Ash’s refreshing and genuinely amiable energy played a significant role in my choice to purchase the Ariya specifically from himself at Marshall Nissan, Oxford. I had no intention whatsoever of purchasing a new car when I arrived at Marshall Nissan that day, but the Ariya and Ash Day changed that.
As purchasing the Ariya was a spur of the moment decision, I was reluctant to use some of my existing savings for the down payment, but was expecting a sum of money that would be considered disposable income which I could responsibly justify using some of it for the down payment. Annoyingly, the money I was expecting took nearly a year to materialise from the day of deciding to purchase the new car, but Ash never lost patience, or assumed the deal wouldn’t go ahead; instead, he kept in contact with me regularly (without any pressure whatsoever) just to let me know that whenever, I was ready, he would be there to complete the deal. I found this level of dedication over this long period to be a major factor in motivating me to buy this car from Ash (specifically), and not change my mind, so when the money finally arrived, I ordered the car the very same day!
I’ve always enjoyed exceptional customer service at Marshall Nissan Oxford whenever I’ve taken the Qashqai in for servicing even though it wasn’t purchased from there, but now that I’ve actually experienced purchasing a vehicle from them, I can say with confidence that the superior customer service is truly branch-wide.
