    I have found MG’s customer service to be the most disappointing I’ve experienced to date. My issues began when I first selected this dealership through the Motability scheme in December 2023 and have continued through the vehicle collection, subsequent issues, and service appointments.
    For example, during my most recent visit, I received an email instructing me to check in online and list any additional issues for inspection during the scheduled service. Upon arrival, the team acknowledged my concerns but advised that the issues were likely due to a software update “we don’t have.” I explained that this was the same explanation I had been given during my previous visit, with no follow‑up ever provided.
    The representative then informed me that it could take up to five hours to complete. I explained that this was unreasonable as no courtesy car had been arranged. I often feel that staff make excuses rather than take responsibility for resolving problems.
    Even on the day of collection, the car’s cruise control did not work. I was initially told this was because of the rain—an explanation I found unacceptable given that wet weather is common in the UK. Only after further insistence did they investigate and discover a manufacturing fault.
    By contrast, my previous experience with BMW through the same Motability scheme was exceptional. Their customer service was proactive, efficient, and genuinely customer‑focused, which highlights how far MG’s service falls short of expectations.

    Not good. I had to wait nearly 3 hours. They didn’t clean it as said they were short staffed and I have to make a 40 minute drive back as they have left the screen in service so can’t even see my mileage or speed.
    I was told it would be an hour max not 3
    And the helicopter light is on
