    So, and with a sigh, where do I start. On January 10th I telephoned my Stoke branch of Bristol Street Motors to pre-book my car for its MOT. The phone rang for a while until a gentleman answered, I asked if I was talking to BSM Stoke, he replied no it’s Head Office allow me to deal with your enquiry. Following a short discussion I had booked the MOT for the 19th of March, the gentleman also said there was an outstanding recall on the car, would it be convenient for that to be carried out at the same time, I answered yes. I asked if the vehicle could be picked up and delivered back, but was told there would be a charge of £48.00, but if I took the vehicle in they could arrange a loan car.
    By the 17th of March I had not had any reminders, so I decided to make a phone call. The person that answered said my car was NOT booked in for an MOT, but he did acknowledge I had telephoned on the 10th of January, I then asked about the recall, he replied there’s no outstanding recall. The MOT was again booked in, now 24th March.
    This occasion I did receive a text reminder with a link to click on. A complementary car wash and hoover was offered, I ticked yes. On the 24th I took the car to Stoke BSM and arranged a lift back home from a friend. A few hours later my lift took me back to Stoke BSM to collect the car. Upon arriving home, I looked at the MOT test certificate and was stunned to read; ⓘ This vehicle has an outstanding recall. Contact your nearest FORD dealership for information and to arrange a free repair. So that’s another pending visit. As for the complementary wash and hoover, it failed to happen, why?
    When one considers the many hundreds of thousands of pounds (maybe millions) turnover BSM rake in from Motability customers, their very poor customer working practise, plus a charge of £48 for a pickup and delivery service involving vehicles they have sold, well, it all leaves much to be desired.
    I could go on and on – but I think you will, by now, have got the picture.
