Unfortunately as the car is at the end of it's contract it was going back to the Motability scheme, the Motability team only authorised the MOT. We also checked the lamp issue and found a wiring break - this repair was also not authorised as it did not fail the MOT and was deemed unnecessary at this time in the contract
We would never refuse work, and had time booked aside to carry out the work, however as the vehicle is owned under the motability scheme we are required to gain authority for any work we need to carry out, we were only unable to proceed as it was declined by Motability.
