- Rating 2.0Jun 17, 2022Started well on being greeted in showroom and offered time to collect car when suited me . The text msg later in the day , with video of the service inspection was helpful but the customer service went down hill from here ! The text suggested I needed to pay for items which was not the case as it is a motability scheme vehicle and service included . Tried to upswell air on service that was not required apparently . Initially failed to get authority from motorbility to get braked pads
renewed but after I queried this they sorted it with the scheme. I had the use of a courtesy car but annoying forth thing I had to do in leaving garage was put some petrol in it as it was on red ! When I collected my car and drove home I immediately noticed a new chip in the windscreen right in my drivers line of sight which must have happened during the time with the garage. When I called them to explain they said bring it back next morning ing and they would sort it . I duly took it back next day only to be told they would not accept liability and couldn’t do anything 🙈. Whilst it was being serviced they explained it need a fuel software upgrade but they couldn’t do it as I had a full tank of petrol . Could I bring it back another day ? They said this had to be within the next week but I said I couldn’t use half a tank in a week so they reluctantly agreed to stretch this to two weeks time !
Not great customer service or first impressions of the new Marshall owned garage .
