    Our car was due for it's first service & I was asked to book it in to the MG garage, which I did.
    On the day my wife took the car & booked it in with the garage.
    My wife was waiting for a courtesy car, which I had asked for when I booked the service, so my wife could return to her work as soon as possible. My wife was told she would need to pay £500.00 incase she had an accident in their courtesy car. This wasn't discussed or explained to me while booking the service. It was very disappointing & inconvenient as my wife would have to walk all the way home & all the way back to pick the car up when it was ready, which means more time away from work.
    In all my 66 years of getting cars serviced, I've never had a problem with borrowing a courtesy car.
    In my opinion this MG garage in York wasn't helpful to my wife who had to spend time walking back & forth.
    They didn't even offer to get someone to give her a lift home, hence only 3 stars!

    Everything went well they said I would have a car by Friday then had a phone cal yesterday to say the car I chose wa not on the scheme and the other car they had lost! I rang back to say I was disappointed and they needed to get this sorted asap as I had arranged with Motorbility to hand the other car back on Friday they said they would call back asap but never did. So it loooks like I won’t be getting a car by Friday at all now
