The Motability Scheme offers simple, all-inclusive leasing to anyone receiving a qualifying mobility allowance. You simply use your allowance to lease a brand new car from a huge choice of makes and models. You can have up to three named drivers (this doesn't have to be you) and the price of every lease includes insurance, breakdown and maintenance.

- Rating 1.0Dec 17, 2024I was booked in for 08:00 a while you wait MOT. However, the MOT technician hadn’t arrived. Whilst waiting in the showroom, I was called at 08:10 and told the technician wasn’t arriving until the afternoon, and that I should go home and return later. I informed them that it was too far to travel, and I was also meant to be working from home , so would wait.
I checked in with them again at 12:20 approximately, and was told the technician still hadn’t arrived and that his ETA was about 13:00.
The battery on my laptop had died, and I didn’t bring the charger cable with me as I hadn’t expected to be there for so long.
I didn’t get my car back until 14:40, for which I was glad. However I didn’t expect to have to wait six hours and 40 minutes for a while you wait MOT.
