    We’ve just collected our new vehicle from Clark Volvo Aberdeen, and we couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. From start to finish, everything went smoothly, efficiently, and in a genuinely welcoming atmosphere.

    I recently collected my Motability car from John Clark Volvo, and while my experience with Motability itself has been flawless, my visit to this dealership left much to be desired.

    The reception staff were lovely and welcoming, but unfortunately, the experience took a turn when dealing with Adam, the salesman responsible for handing me the keys. Despite my presence, Adam only addressed my fiancée, largely ignoring me entirely. As someone with invisible disabilities, I felt the need to explicitly point this out, yet even after doing so, I continued to be overlooked.

    Not only was I made to feel socially excluded, but Adam also showed a complete lack of discretion when discussing the fact that this was a Motability vehicle—broadcasting it loudly for everyone in the dealership to hear. His conduct was insensitive and unprofessional.

    To make matters worse, he repeatedly lectured me at length about not allowing anyone else to drive the car, well beyond what was reasonable. Even after I explained that I suffer from chronic acute agoraphobia, he continued to hammer this point home over and over—seemingly oblivious to how uncomfortable he was making me feel.

    The most offensive moment came when, outside by the car, Adam felt it appropriate to tell me outright that I would never be able to afford this car if it weren’t for Motability. This was not only insulting and unnecessary but also a grossly inappropriate comment for any customer to hear.

    I left feeling as though I had been treated as less than—as if I owed Adam something, despite his only real involvement being the person who handed me the keys. No customer should be made to feel this way.

    While the dealership itself may be reputable, my experience with Adam was deeply disappointing and left a lasting negative impression.
