Even though the staff at the dealership where very kind and polite, however what am not happy with is that I did not get the specifications that I was told when I ordered the car. When I went to sit in the car I realised that it did not have the fully electric seat. After test driving the astra ultimate, I was told by Ian that the astra sports tourer GS line will have the fully electrical seat also. I was also told that it will have an electrical powered tail gate/boot, as this is what I was looking for.
As I said when I sat in the car I had difficulty adjusting the seat, causing a lot of pain, so much that Craig the salesman had to adjust my seat. I told Craig about what I was expecting from what I was told by Ian, and this will cause so much discomfort. Craig apologised and said, there's not much we can do now all I suggest is try it, and if its not suitable you can call mobility and tell them what you've told me and do an early termination due to the vehicle is not suitable for you.
Now when I arrived at the sales room I sat down with Craig and signed all the paperwork, one of the sheets where about showing me the car. Craig said this was showing you the controls so you have a knowledge before I drive off. When I drove off I went to morrisons about half a mile away, thats where I noticed that the boot would not open using the key fob, so I went back to the dealership and spoke to Craig about this, who told me that it does not have an electronic boot. I explained once again Ian told me this also. Once again Craig said as I said call motability and do an early termination. I also spoke to the manager I told the manager that tis is not Craigs fault, and that he has been brilliant. I told him am not happy as I was expecting what I was told by Ian. After we had I nice conversation where the manager apologised, I new this was not there fault, but at the same time I was not happy as I just got the car and now have to go through the whole process again of finding another car.
I called motability and told them the whole story. They said why did I enter the pin and except the car if it was not suitable for me. I told them I did not enter the pin, and that I give the paperwork to Craig, and when I noticed the first issue thats when I was told that there's not much we can so now and told to try it out, and if its not suitable which it looks like it won't then call motability and do an early termination.
